Glossary Entry: Save

Quick Definition

A save (or saved game) is a recorded instance of a player's progress within the game. Recording your progress is also known as saving your game.

Some games provide only one save, which means that if anyone else comes along and saves, the original player's progress is permanently erased. This is a common source of fights among siblings, even if it was an accident.
