Glossary Entry: noclip

Quick Definition

"noclip" refers to a common type of cheat that disables collision detection for the player character, allowing them to walk through walls or other objects. Occasionally, this cheat also allows the player to fly.

These cheats allow a player to explore outside of the level map, and may allow them to discover hidden areas of the level or even locate easter eggs that are otherwise impossible to find.
