This is a popular subgenre of science fiction that deals with the ever-increasing hold computers and technology hold on our lives. Common themes include the dangers of transhumanism, corporate overreach, and a frightening amount of neon.

Examples of well-known cyberpunk movies include Blade Runner, Robocop, Demolition Man, and The Matrix.
