Glossary Entry: Busywork

Busywork is any unnecessary and overly tedious action that takes up time for no real gain. Like filler, the only thing this adds to a game is the amount of time it takes to complete the action -- it's just extra work that keeps you busy.

The more busywork in a game, the more players are going to get bored and leave.
